What happens to my droidcon SF 2020 Ticket, now that the event is moved to 2021?

We have moved your ticket over to droidcon SF 2021.

Can I get an invoice/receipt for my order?
Yes, please email us and we’ll send it to you.

Can I get a refund for my order?

Yes, up to 30 days before the event.  Here are Eventbrite instructions on how to do that.

My promo code didn’t work, what do I do?

Please email us your order number and promo code that you used and we’ll look into that.

Can I buy a student ticket if I’m enrolled in an online course like Android Basics by Google Nanodegree Program from Udacity? If so, what proof do I need to show as proof that I am a current student?

Please show us some kind of confirmation email from Udacity etc. that confirms you’re enrolled in Android related course.

Can you send me a visa invitation letter?

Yes, we can send you a visa invitation letter after you buy a ticket. Please email us information about your ticket order, passport details and which U.S. consulate you’ll go to.

What is CFP?

CFP is short for Call for Papers. Call for Papers is when we ask people to submit their talk proposals and then choose the best ones to go into the conference program.

Can I submit a talk for droidcon SF?

Yes. Our CFP is open until October 18, 2021.

Who’s going to choose talks for droidcon SF?

The Program Committee consists of members of the Android community. A list of the Program Committee will later be published on droidcon.sf.website.

When will I know if my talk was selected?

Please allow about 2 weeks for the Program Committee to vote and choose talks. Selected speakers will get an acceptance email from organizers in November.

When can I see the program?

The first talks will be on the conference website in early November.
